Copied from email:

"Good Afternoon Everyone.

As a follow-up to our Chat & Chews, MEE is recruiting Black Males (ages 16-19) to become a part of our CATs (Community Action Teams). They will go out into communities to disseminate and display Census 2010 material. Adult CATs Coordinators will supervise youth during structured three-hour outreach activities, as well as to serve as their mentors and guides.

We will be conducting two CATs Training Orientations:

Date: Tuesday, February 16, 2010

Time: 4 - 6 pm

Location: 2829 W. Diamond Street - Philadelphia, PA 19121

and

Date: Wednesday, February 17, 2010

Time: 4 - 6 pm

Location: 5070 Parkside Avenue, Suite 2500 - Philadelphia, PA 19131

Through our CATs Training, young people can:

* Earn Community Service Hours

* Get Paid in an effort to get black males counted correctly

* Learn how to become a leader in the community

For orientation registration, please give either myself, Udeme Greens or Christina Upsher a call at (215) 829-4920. We will be sending an actual flyer with more details about the orientation shortly. In the meantime, you can get the information out to the young men you serve. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you.
